This is one of several bridges at Pontivy in the Breton Département of Morbihan that span the River Blavet which passes through the town. The Blavet is canalised for much of its length and constitutes a major part of the Nantes-Brest Canal which is no longer in commercial use and today only brings holidaymakers to Pontivy.
I like this one best viewed on black... and yes, I'm having a 'processing-fest' after a month of nf-sooc!
I would think if you practice what you learned from sooc challenge that you would have the best "base" to process and would then get a great post. Well, like this.............
Beautiful lines and textures within your lovely image! @Taffy, doesn't Richard make you want to go back to France? Our trip last year wasn't long enough!
This is indeed best viewed on black....such sublety in the tones, and wonderfully composed!! Yes, I can see how you would thoroughly enjoy processing after a month of self-imposed SOOC posting.....I admire your discipline!! But, you must be like a thirsty man after crossing the desert and finding a source of water!! FAV!
