Today has been rainy and gloomy which matched precisely my photographic mood... I thought that this might brighten things up.

As you might imagine, it views best on black...

@joansmor The white shade wasn't too difficult but getting the background (our sittingroom) black whiist retaining detail in the lamp support columns, yes, that was a bit challenging. We have the same weather again today so I've got to find something else around the house to photograph for today's post.
