Once again this year our local council have made the Abbey the focal point of the Christmas displays. Every evening there are four repeat performances of a fairy story about the moon laser projected onto the façade of the Abbey. This year, they have also added some mood lighting by way of varicoloured LED spotlights illuminating the trees which border Paimpont Lake.
Whilst you are watching the laser show, you are only peripherally aware of the light on the trees at the edge of your vision, so I choose to photograph the scene from the other side of the lake and make the trees and their reflections the star of the show. No doubt you'll get to see the fairy story itself soon!
You'll have guessed that this views best on black!
@jborrases I do have a new toy, but not the D750 that I used for this shot... I've had that some months. The new toy is the Fuji X100T which I was using earlier in the month.
Merry Christmas, Richard. Hope to 'see' more of you in 2016
