Natural Ice Sculpture

A fortuitous find: there are lot's of frozen puddles on a nearby country track, some of which have been broken up by passing vehicles. I picked up this piece of broken ice, turned it over and found myself looking at another aspect of nature's handiwork. I thought this natural abstract sculpture was too good not to share.

How intriguing. Had you not told us what we were seeing, I think I might've been stumped. I would've guessed it was some unique trinket or vase made of gradient glass. Insightful of you, seeing the photo op in this ice.
