Gaël Lake by vignouse

Gaël Lake

The local authority, who is responsible for this public area, has done a lot of work over the Winter to remove the unstructured growth in and around the lake: this simple uncluttered view looked very different back in the Autumn - I like it how it was today on a dark, gloomy afternoon.

This is for the Flash of Red 2017 challenge.

Rewards viewing on black...
Gloomy can be very engaging, besides bringing with it, very wonderful clouds which you caught in the reflections.

Whilst the sky is dark, the shot isn't. As a reflection junkie, VML like these. On a more general note, am pleased to see the that all the small villages and hamlets are doing more to make what features the area has etc. as neat, tidy, attractive, as possible, increasing local pride whilst highlighting the simple beauty of this diverse region.
