I'm always amazed at how quickly Mother Nature wakes up her world as Winter starts to recede. No sooner were these daffodils open than the tiny insect visitors arrived to feed off the pollen... before the butterflies devoured it all!
When I see insects crawlingo here and there, they seem to have inexhaustible stamina...which made me think is this daffodil the haven of their 'walk in the park'?
Noreaster headed our way this week so no flowers and no insects. May get to 20F today. Debating about going for a photo ride - think I will head for beach. I could have breakfast at my favorite spot. think I need to find warm cloths - 11f right now.
