Birth by vignouse

Birth

A third (and final) image of the work of a local dance group who performed a choreography inspired by the photo exhibition on 'The Adventure of Birth' which is currently on display at our local Mediatech and which I'm proud to have participated in. I was particularly moved by this dancer's sensitive portrayal of a foetus readying itself for birth. Here the 'foetus' at right is moving down the birth canal in an uncertain journey whilst the mother waits in pain to greet her child.

May I encourage you to view this on black...
@ethelperry Ethel. I was touched by your comments on my 'Foetus' image from 2 days ago and thought you might like to see how this dance scene developed. The Ploërmel Maternity Hospital very much recognises the life of the foetus before birth and encourages interaction between the family and the yet to be born child.

I hit the fav button on this as soon as I saw it, because it intrigued me! I studied it for sometime to see a story, on reading your narrative it makes total sense. Beautiful and vulnerable capture!
