In fact it's four as there's another baby swallow in this nest out of shot to the right. The nest is up high in our woodshed and there is another to the left of it but the eggs in that one haven't hatched yet.
OMG so wonderful. Mom and Dad have moved into my birdhouse and where in fact making babies Sunday./ I am so in hope of getting some kind of photo. But it won't be this good.
@gardencat Thanks Joanne - the nests are made of mud and lined with grass and feathers... Google it and/or look on YouTube, it's quite fascinating to see how they make them.
