This little chap is from the second brood in the second of two nests in our woodshed and is the last but one to fledge. He needed to fly to the right after leaving the nest in order to fly out of the woodshed doorway but for his first try he only made it 4 metres to the other side of the shed. You can see it's his first time out of the nest as he hasn't yet learned to stand on his feet. In a couple of days though he'll be swooping and diving and catching his food on the wing - isn't nature wonderful
On a technical note, the woodshed is rather dark so I was quite pleased with how this worked out at ISO 6400
