Connections

Today I made:

- 4 kg of plum jam
- lunch
- 2 kg of apple purée
- 2 litres of mirabelle liqueur
- dinner

In between lunch and the apple purée, I took my motorbike for service at Rennes 50 km away - this photograph was taken a few minutes walk away from the concessionaires whilst I was waiting for them to finish up. Frankly, given my day, I'm surprised that I managed to get anything that I was happy to post ;-))

I suspect that this will view better on black...
Great job of composing those power lines and poles...great in b&w

I like this gritty shot.

Perfectly titled. And a day that sounds quite full...of connections?

What a busy life, I am quite exhausted just reading about your day. I like the title and composition of this.

Nice, and I love the thought of all that fruit being processed! I thought I'd done well this week dealing with the filberts in our garden. Our apples are poor this year and our pears non-existent, so I won't have to worry too much about what to do with them! Nice image on a busy day.

Am a sucker for straight lines, so,this is a no brainer for me, easy fav and wonderfully gritty.

You are nothing is not persistent in keeping up. I frankly neither took a shot yesterday nor posted until this morning. An way I am thik of taking my camera with me tomorrow and when I leave work at noonish I will head to the coast. Eating lunch at the park where Bug light is (the little short light house) Got any ideas about something new I can do. I also get the view of Portland across the water and the ferries going by sometimes. I want to try concentrating on design in my pictures. Not just shooting. But I get distracted so easily.

Ideas? I could do with a view myself!

How about: a long exposure across the bay; a change of PoV - as low as your tripod will go; stick to one focal length all day and look for subjects that will suit it - good luck!
