NF-SOOC-2017 Day 30: Weir and Footbridge... by vignouse

NF-SOOC-2017 Day 30: Weir and Footbridge...

...both in a parlous state of repair!

This is for Day 30 - the final day - of my annual NF-Sooc-September challenge: a month of sooc pictures taken with a 50mm lens or its equivalent for crop-sensor cameras. You can read all about it here - https://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/30294/nf-sooc-september-2017

Guess what? It views better on black!
This has wonderful light and texture.

The dappled light gives a much gentler aspect than Autumn would have us believe. Who/what is deceiving whom/what?

I like the light, shadows and decline you've captured in this neat b&w shot.

Congrats you did it and involved more people then I remember in the past. Congrats on inspiring so many.

This is a great combination of worn and strength. The bridge's moss covered planks is very nicely contrasted by the large metal railing. I am very glad that you've continued this tradition of the NF Sooc challenge, I have truly enjoyed reacquainting myself the pre-Photoshop world. Thank you!
