The farm at Le Plessis... by vignouse

The farm at Le Plessis...

...seen from the forest path as night begins to fall.

It looks different on black but, for a change, I like it both ways!
Lovely panorama, taken with a wide angle lens or is it a series spliced together?

@vstrom Thanks Rick - you're right, it's not a true pano, it's an image taken with a 14mm lens and cropped top and bottom... but this is the image that I visualised when I pressed the shutter button.

Here seen a serene scene. No mean feat!

I think this time I prefer the light, provably because my cataracts are not letting the black let in enough light.

@janiskay I had mine done 4 years ago and no longer have to wear glasses after wearing them from the age of 4... go for it!

I love the miniature feel of this :)

Quick question for you... are you aware if any site that provides a good photographer’s lexicon in French? I have to do a presentation for French class and the prof does not like google translate (which admittedly is not always reliable).

I like the sense of scale in this shot with the landscape and sky looking so expansive.

Nice rich colors. I prefer it on the black background I think.

@northy Well done you on the French! Here's a basic one: http://www.posepartage.fr/apprendre/lexique-photographie/ This one is much more comprehensive: https://www.parlonsphoto.com/le-lexique.html

If you want more, simply search for either 'ba ba de la photographic' or 'lexique de la photo'.

Good luck with the presentation...

@northy That should have read 'ba ba de la photographie' . Auto- correct gets confused when I mix French and English so your prof is right to distrust electronic translation 😉

Beautiful pano of this lovely farm land. Is it in Brittany ? which is my birth place.

@claudiet Merci Claude... bien sûr c’est en Bretagne - plus précisément dans la commune de Paimpont (35km sud-ouest de Rennes) où j’habite dans la forêt de Brocéliande.
