Second Time Lucky! by vignouse

Second Time Lucky!

This is the pano that I made a complete pig's breakfast of yesterday - a 180 deg view, across the lake, of part of Paimpont Village and the Abbey. Yesterday it was going to be in colour - today I liked B&W best. The path at left and right is a straight path that I'm standing in the middle of.

This is also the first post from the new Fuji X-E3 and 23mm f/2 which arrived just before lunchtime.
wonderful way to start playing with a brand new camera!

This is great, works really well - I was planning to go and have a second go, but the weather was horrible

Your new companion makes an effective début! Good stuff...more, much more expected.

I’m glad you gave it a second try. This is definitely worth the wait!

You're buying cameras at an even quicker rate than I am! It's done a good job here and made a good choice with b/w.. to me it feels more appropriate for the time of year.. adds a cold feel to go with the bare trees. I reckon it won't be long before a 'mood' button is added to cameras... just before the photographer can be dispensed with!!

Great pano! I want the 23mm next. I bought the 35mm f2 sometime last year because it was on sale, and i wanted a lightweight unobtrusive weather sealed lens. I do like it, but I find it a bit tight for my style of shooting and thinking of trading it in for the 23mm

@ukandie1 I bought it as kit with the X-E3 at 200€ less than the price separately because, like you, I wanted a weather resistant lens. So far it's living up to the reviews.
