Paimpont 2018: Day 22 - A Lensbaby Library...

...is one in which some authors stand out more than others!
Yes, and Margaret Atwood would wish to be featured. Alpha by author, but not by title . . . notices the former librarian :)
Which Lensbaby are you using for this? Just studying them today.

@jyokota And so she is arranged alpha by author - she follows Martin Amis and then Campbell Armstrong on the shelf. (All our (2000+) books are arranged in alpha author order and by alpha order of title for each author.)

My Lensbaby is an old one - the Composer-Pro 50mm - the current version is the Composer-Pro Sweet 50.

@vignouse -- hmmm . . . I noticed that "London Fields" came after "Other People" . . . I do love a house filled with books! Some day I will take some photos of my library . . .

Wow sounds like a great library Richard! 2000+ books!
Love the LB shot!

@jyokota Indeed, but London Fields also comes before 'Other People' as we have two copies of it! In the end, isn't reading them more important than how they are arranged?

We also have a large book collection, but no order whatever, sometimes I find a book or CD that I'm surprised I own, never got around to Amis father or son. Great shot.

Really enjoying your lensbaby series including this neat shot :)

like the lensbaby focus

@vignouse -- two copies of the same book! You DO love books :) We also have multiple of the same titles as well. And absolutely right -- reading books is the best! (You do know this is my field of work?)

Tom
Yes how true, and one wonders why that particular author !
January 23rd, 2018
Wonderful lensbaby shot.
January 23rd, 2018
terrific effect!

VML this with LB...it conjures the mists of time contentedly spent choosing, reading and appreciating books.
January 23rd, 2018
@jyokota Why doubles? Sometimes because Mrs S and I had the same book in our individual collections before we met; sometimes because a book club selection included a title we already had but it was still worth buying and sometimes... just because😏
January 23rd, 2018
@tosee Thanks Tom - why that particular author? For very nonliterary reasons I'm afraid: I needed to chose some books which were well lit and included one book where the jacket stood out from the rest with the author's name prominent. I had several possibilities but I liked this one the best.

Love the back and fort with @jyokota. I am a library user rather than own personally so I appreciate order though I wish author books ordered by the order they were written, Maybe the accountant in me.

Great shot!

Nice use of the LB.

Great shot with the lensbaby!
January 23rd, 2018
Great focusing, a super shot. Fav!! 😀
January 23rd, 2018
The simpler the better for the LB...
January 23rd, 2018
@vignouse - a merging of book collections when marrying! :) We kept most of our multiples, too. You really are inspiring me to take a photo or two or more of my library! hmm . .. I think that the England 365 group visiting my house may have posted some a year ago . . .
January 23rd, 2018
Nicely done.
