NF-SOOC-2018 - Day 30: Nuts & Bolts

The Passerelle de St. François (the St. François footbridge) spans the river Guindy connecting the communities of Tréguier and Plouguiel. The first bridge was constructed in 1833 and remained in service until 2004 when it was closed having become unsafe due to corrosion. Happily it was replaced in 2013 and is once more in service. I have posted images of both the old and new bridges before in my project and had intended to do the same today... but a detail caught my eye and I'm posting that instead. (That little intrusion in the bottom left corner annoys me though!)

This is for Day 30 - the final day of my annual NF-SOOC-September challenge: a month of sooc pictures taken with a 50mm lens or its equivalent for crop-sensor cameras. You can read all about it here - https://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/31977/nf-sooc-september-2018

BoB of course!
Excellent definition leading to blur. Fitting choice for last day SOOC.

Love it Richard. I am a real sucker for the iron/steelwork of that era, far more interesting than modern stuff.

@golftragic This is the new bridge Marnie but built in the style of the 180 year old one and using the same foundations so as to preserve the character of the area.
