Paimpont 2018: Day 219 - Across the Field

I'm still doing my best to make this year a year of photos taken as close to home as possible. Yesterday's 'Dead Poplars' image was taken about 500 metres away - couldn't get much closer for today's image as it was taken from an upstairs bedroom window looking south.

The sun reflecting off the biodegradable polythene sheeting (which protected the root structure of the, now harvested, maize crop) caught my eye. Since I took this image this morning, the field has been harrowed (they don't plough any more) and planted with winter wheat.

Yes, it's BoB...
Yes, it's amazing on black!

definitely has tone viewed on black, that light would have been difficult to work with I imagine so well done

@graemestevens Thank you Graeme, and you're right. The correct exposure for the sky and the field left the trees and the houses completely underexposed... so they needed a bit of 'seeing to'!

I like the diagonal lines and composition. The sky and light are gorgeous.

I find the moodiness of this shot very appealing. The composition is terrific, so good with those strong lines and cloudy sky.
