The 'rope’ reminds me of rowing boats, tied up and awaiting hire. River Styx comes to mind. Excellent, brooding and mood shot.

@sailingmusic @koalagardens @s4sayer That 'rope' is rather puzzling as it is as thick as my wrist and was once used to tether an iron punt although it could tether an ocean-liner! The punt is now marooned on the bank but why such a thing was needed on a small pond which is littered with stumps and dead trees is beyond me. It's a rather spooky place, I must try to visit it at twilight.
