30 Shots for April - Day 7: Coq by vignouse

30 Shots for April - Day 7: Coq

@annied is hosting a challenge for April to take 30 shots of the same subject - since I've been struggling for inspiration all year, I've chosen to join in just for the fun of it. I have decided that my subject will be the glass cabinet in our kitchen - here's the seventh glimpse of what you might find within...

...France's national emblem - the Coq; this stylised little replica is about 35mm tall.

BoB!

@summerfield there so many regional dishes that I don’t know if the coq au vin is the most famous... there are also the Cassoulet, the snails with butter... and so on ;)

Isn't he colorful

@summerfield As Corinne @cocobella says, there is no one dish that would be recognized as the national dish... curiously, the most eaten dish in France is pizza!

Love the lighting. What is the surface that gives the lovely reflection?

Love your reflection!
