30 Shots for April - Day 26: Chinese Potpourri Bowls

@annied is hosting a challenge for April to take 30 shots of the same subject - since I've been struggling for inspiration all year, I've chosen to join in just for the fun of it. I have decided that my subject will be the glass cabinet in our kitchen - here's the twenty-sixth glimpse of what you might find within...

...two rather old Chinese pot-pourri bowls - the lid belongs to the left-hand bowl.
Gracious! These must be so valuable - you would take the greatest of care putting these on all white which suits them so well!

You’ve done these proud! The one on the left is the real deal and was given to Mum by a lovely lady who lived near us in Ramsey, Isle of Man. She, and her late husband, lived many years in the East and had many such treasures. As the original pot pourri eventually lost its fragrance, I have replaced it...yet the scent is not the same.

Beautiful shot. I like the bowl on the left, who seems to stand on it's own two legs...
