Paimpont Abbey... by vignouse

Paimpont Abbey...

...viewed from the bottom of the nave looking towards the chancel.

I have been the duty person at the Abbey today, there to assist visitors and answer their questions. I took this shot after closing - a view that never fails to ease my heart.
Your processing is stellar.

I love this image. Whilst i also really love the Abbey images in black and white, I am torn! Because the colour brings to life the sense of history and all the lovely texture. Which are your favourites

@brigette Thanks Brigette - B&W is my first love and it also solves the technical problem of variation in colour temperature. In this image there are both tungsten and LED floodlights plus daylight which meant that I had to do differential colour balancing to produce a homogeneous image. I turned off the halogen lighting at the bottom end of the nave otherwise I would have had a fourth colour temperature to deal with... no such problems in B&W!
