Pylon... by vignouse

Pylon...

...the perspective is a little off but I get vertigo when I look up and falling over does little for photo composition!

I like it BoB... but then I always do!
ooh good one although I do feel a little sick looking up!

Oooo! All the lines — they're excellent.

Thanks for the comment on the wild dove picture. She has adjusted enough to create her own little routine among the flighted birds. What she seems to appreciate is when the other doves choose to spend some time on the floor so she'll have company.

I believe I'd have to point the camera and shoot until I got a result I liked. I get a little vertigo just looking at the photo.

This is just beautiful! I may be partial though because I grew up looking at these "Ladies" all over the countryside!
FAV!

The secret is to lie down before falling, preferably on groundsheet.

@lostphojo I've taken this before from this viewpoint and the last time, on a dry spring day, I did indeed lay flat on my back under the pylon. I took this one on a rainy morning when the ground under the pylon was a metre high in wet stinging nettles and brambles... no way - even for art - was I going to lay down.
