Straw Bales by vignouse

Straw Bales

The waste straw ejected from the combine harvester during the harvesting of the wheat in the field in front of the house has now been baled up and awaits collection for use as winter bedding for the dairy cows.

Definitely BoB!

Great capture and great use of the left over pieces of waste straw. Got to get behind both of these.

I love round bales and the clouds are perfect…though maybe it’s time to take the bales into the barn before it rains

I love the fields with the round bales. I know this is not hay, but this year we cut for the first time hay after sowing in autumn and it is very rewarding! Great gray scale, too
