Working Hard

A final (perhaps!) study of a wind-turbine doing what wind-turbines are designed to do.
You had my brain working, I remember seeing some this winter in NH. Thought I might get up close and try something. But the weather is overcast. These work so well against the partially cloudy sky.

I've loved the whole series - works so well with the blur of the lensbaby creating a sense of movement and power. FAV

A very dynamic angle Richard. Could we have a shot from the top of one please (including blades) ?

@happysnap Ah, now that is something I would really love to do Linda - I've talked to maintenance crews about sneaking me up in the lift - yes, there's a lift inside - but I always get the 'jobsworth' quote ;-(

Great POV, I know all the arguments for and against these turbines but I do find them quite stunning in the French open landscape.

@trinda No Trinda, aside from a contrast boost and some colour enhancement for the sky, it's more or less how it came out of the camera... the effect you see is from the lens - a 50mm Lensbaby Composer Pro at f/4. Google it for more information or simply follow the tag lensbaby and you'll find lots more examples on here.
