The young shall inherit the earth... by vignouse

The young shall inherit the earth...

... why the dramatic treatment? Well watching these four confident youngsters striding up the street of a small old-fashioned Breton town felt so out-of-time and otherworldly, that it seemed appropriate to treat this like a scene from a film. (No prizes for guessing who was the dominant member of this little group!)
Nice treatment - I like the desaturated colours, and they all look rather interesting! (nice legs..)

Very nice treatment - great "street shot", I particularly like the way she is looking straight "down the barrel"

I like the desaturated look too, and the girl does look very confident, not to mention beautiful

I like this shot Richard. Everything is working for me. The desaturated look is nice and the highlights are popping in all the right places.

Its a fav Richard. Not only does the treatment make it feel otherworldly as you say, but for me it also brings out all the details in the stone and architecture. Love that pop of pink too!

Love it Richard, I had to smile at the one who looks like he has a flower on his head. Oh for the confidence of youth

Wouldn't have said this was your photo Richard - very different. Do more like this please....it's lovely!!!

@ceilidh I hadn't spotted that Margaret; the 'flower' is in fact a lace wedding bow fixed to the roof mounted radio aerial of the car behind him!

Haha, the young shall inherit the earth, but they won't promise to look after it ;) Nice candid shot - Lucy

Wonderful street shot. If they could only keep that attitude as they grow nothing could stop them.
