Sempervivum Tectorum... by vignouse

Sempervivum Tectorum...

Two days ago I posted a picture of a family group of succulents and a rather spectacular flower stem - http://365project.org/vignouse/365/2014-07-19 . A number of people have expressed interest in seeing a close-up of the flowerlets themselves... so here they are. I have since discovered that another group which cascades down the rocks in our largest rockery, now has two of these flower spikes side by side.
Beautiful close focus on two of the flowers and so pretty with the others in the background! fav
