Uncertain Future... by vignouse

Uncertain Future...

Today I felt like experimenting a bit, taking an alternative view...

(View on black if you can spare the time.)
Ah, the bird's eye view. Or the worm's, or the lounging dog. The list could go on. The shallow DOF puts the focus on the foreground. The b&w makes us see the details and not the colors. Great alternate view.

Great shallow DoF! I love the sharp, crisp detail of the foreground against the vertical lines and bokeh in the background. Works great in b&w.

Just excellent on the black, full of detail and light/shadow, love it

Nice perspective. Very suitable title.

Fantastic shot, love the detail in the foreground vs the blurred background.

Great focus, dof, textures...viewed on black which does give this shot more impact

Love this b&w, great textures and lighting :) (I'm obsessed with lighting these days) I'm curious about the title, sorry if I missed something! Love the shallow dof. So much left to the imagination.

Sorry not my cup of tea.

@kt8ird Thanks Kate - much appreciated. The title simply reflects the fact that the further you move away from the camera position and therefore the further you move ahead, the more fuzzy the view of your destination becomes... or something like that - it's 3 am as I write this!

@vignouse Goodnight Mr. Sayer!! That title makes so much sense, duh, I took it too literally.

One is so low to the ground that I can imagine just sitting down for a spell and letting the future arrive as it will.

@joansmor What - not even 'interesting'?

Viewing on black really brings out the textures and I love your choice of focus for the soft background and great DoF.

@vignouse Okay interesting (between you and me Kate used that on someone else's photo and I laughed.) I should warn her.

Super pov. I love the B&W on this and unusual as normally expect to see the vibrant autumn colours. But this is great and a fav!
