This was snapped on the east bank of the River Vienne at Chinon. The rest of the family were all engaged in adult talk so these two young ones snuck off to ponder a while by the river.
It's a lovely scene, and I love water and reflections.
I wonder if you ever consider Bracketing for situations like this i.e over exposed sky. After all, this isn't the shot you saw more the result of the cameras limitations.
@gamelee Funnily enough, this particular camera has been on auto three-shot bracketing for the last week or so but I took it off this morning in order to cut down on my post-processing time a bit!
It's odd the juxtaposed behavior of children...and equally adults. Youth, of all ages, tear about, wreak havoc and make too much noise. Yet, moments of peace and quiet restore us in ways that we may never plumb. May it be ever thus.
