OCOLOY Day 118: Reduced to Kit Form! by vignouse

OCOLOY Day 118: Reduced to Kit Form!

When trees are planted as a renewable resource they are usually planted on a square grid pattern which makes it easier for them to be harvested mechanically. These trees destined for firewood have been felled by hand but leaving every other tree to grow on in the space created.

As always, this image is SOOC and is part of my ongoing OCOLOY project - you can read more about it in my profile.

BoB... again!
Love the bark textures, it's amazing how much detail we lose when we shoot in colour, B & W is so much more detailed always.

@judithdeacon
Am with Judiith, B&W reveal detail, otherwise lost in colour. Like the leading lines, showing more woodpile beyond...an love all those crunchy leaves .

I can't really believe you're still shooting SOOC because the images come out consistently "just so". Well done etc.
