OCOLOY Day 136: Paimpont's other face...

If you visit my project regularly you will be used to seeing images of a charming village dating from the middle-ages, set in 20,000 acres of historic and picturesque forest and at its heart, the 12th C Paimpont Abbey.

This is Paimpont's other face - a village that provides employment as well as a lovely place to live. This is the water bottling plant that pumps water from deep in the forest for sale as the in-house water brand of the InterMarché chain of supermarkets.

If you want to see what this plant looks like in context - you can check it out in today's post in my Doubletakes album - http://365project.org/vignouse/doubletakes/2016-05-15

As always, this image is SOOC and is part of my ongoing OCOLOY project - you can read more about it in my profile.

View on black if you can...
The high contrast between B & W lends itself well to this no nonsense water plant and renders it more interesting and less intrusive in its deeply rural setting.

Great tonal quality and B & W seems so appropriate to an industrial plant

Those tanks remind me of the ones at the Cheese place and the Ice Cream place we visited last summer. This is a wonderful bw.
