OCOLOY Day 154: Twilight Grasses by vignouse

OCOLOY Day 154: Twilight Grasses

Photographed in our lane tonight just as the light was failing.

As usual, this image is SOOC and is part of my ongoing OCOLOY project - you can read more about it in my profile.

On black is best!
Super detail Richard. Very nice image.

I had to look up Dürer's work as nothing I recalled of his remotely resembled this image... and so I found that he did a painting in 1503 of grasses and flowers which he entitled The Great Piece of Turf. Interestingly, this image in colour with the shadow detail boosted definitely besrs a resemblance to Dürer's image. Thanks for the education ;-)

I like how this is framed and the variety of grasses. Also, just so you know, the word OCOLOY keeps popping into my head at random times throughout the day now. Thanks for that. Ha ha ha. -_-

grasses rarely fail. I was just commenting to someone that I've not photograph them this year (yet), but that I keep looking.
