OCOLOY Day 178: 1st Concert of the Summer Season

This is Kiosque, a choir from Dinan composed entirely of young women and teen-age girls, who opened the summer season of classical concerts in Paimpont Abbey this afternoon... and excellent they were too. (Mrs S and I were the local duty team today, charged with manning the summer season exhibitions and ensuring the arrangements for the concert.)

As usual, the image is SOOC and is part of my ongoing OCOLOY project - you can read more about it in my profile.
Very nice! It makes me nostalgic for the no longer active North American Welsh Choir that Frank and I used to sing with.

It's always nice to see young people participating in the arts of any kind. Thank you and Mrs. S for doing this.

Whilst the concert was in full tune, I was manning the shop part of the expo for those who didn't go to the concert. The centuries' old doors provide most effective soundproofing. I heard applause, little else. All is not lost as I expect to be a fully paid up attendee for the remaining concerts of the Summer season.

There is something special about a choir.
