OCOLOY Day 210: Tones and Textures

Detail of a stack of cut wood in the forest, awaiting collection. The spray painted word (it's in fluorescent pink) that looks like 'Lover', actually reads 'Loyer' which could mean 'rent' but here it is the name of the purchaser.

As usual, the image is SOOC and is part of my ongoing OCOLOY project - you can read more about it in my profile.

Definitely BoB!
Why does the big piece with the name look like another piece of wood is stuck in it?

@joansmor It's the base of the tree and you're seeing the double cut that determines in which direction the tree will fall.

Wood stacks in the forest are like magnets, still I did not manage to get a good photo out of them ever... Envy!

@fishers We understand well "life is just so busy". Treading water often seems to be the order of the day.

Thank you, Ian, we're OK too. We're keeping well and keeping our heads below the parapet whilst Brexit takes shape.
