@quietpurplehaze Thank you Hazel - I've grown quite addicted to SOOC B&W over the last year. There are two big advantages when you are using a 'mirrorless' camera like your A6000 or RX100 - you see the scene in B&W which helps enormously with the composition, plus it's WYSIWYG; you see in the viewfinder the effects of changing the camera settings and you can keep on adjusting until it looks right... then all you have to do is press the button!
Richard, thank you for tips. I am definitely going to try the bw option in both these cameras (both of which I love). I joined in your SOOC challenge & found it very useful. I'd always rather 'get it right' when I take a shot (if possible!)than post-process. I think both my cameras have more than one bw option.
@northy Thank you Myra - no, I will not be continuing with Ocoloy because I have 11 other cameras that have been gathering dust for the last year and I miss playing with them... I have something else in mind so watch this space!
