PLAY January - Nikon 50mm f/1.4G: Bench with a view... by vignouse

PLAY January - Nikon 50mm f/1.4G: Bench with a view...

...of the road into Paimpont village at twilight - this was taken from the lake path.

This is for my PLAY project - you can read more about it in my profile - where I'll be using a different prime lens for each month of the year: in January it's the Nikon 50mm f/1.4G on a full-frame camera (the D610 today).

This should 'pop' more on black!
A day when you might want to sit "a spell" (as they say here) and take in the view. The sunlight is lovely on the houses and causes a lovely reflection on the water.

You are certainly right about this image on black. Glad I heeded your advice. FAV.

In the view on black, the scene glows with a peaceful warmth. I sometimes wish seeing our pictures on black were the only option.

It's in colour? Is something wrong with your lens? :)

Quite contemplative -- rather nice.

Gorgeous tones :)

I never take this view, I feel it's too fussy for my level of ability. You've done it proud, VML the continuity of coppery shades for several textures.

Very smart place to place a bench. I'm sure you can stay there for hours ;)

I feel I know Paimpoint rather well by now. But not in colour!

@vignouse That's funny; you wouldn't know them for the same place at all.
