A view of the town looking across the River Aff. The white buildings to the right are the Tourist Office and the Maison de la Photographie, reflecting the fact that each summer La Gacilly is home to the biggest outdoor photographic exhibition in France.
This is for my PLAY project - you can read more about it in my profile - where I'll be using a different prime lens for each month of the year: for February it's the Fujinon 18mm f/2 on an APS-C sensor camera (today the Fuji X-Pro1) - the equivalent of a 28mm lens on a full-frame camera.
Wall to wall drama...the sky was particularly obliging with the streamers. This looks hyperactive compared to my shot from the other side of the bridge.
@ukandie1 I like this tree, it's a Weeping Willow and the 'weeping' branches are a very pale yellowy green colour. They were rather indistinct in the original image so I upped the yellow saturation and luminance which has produced the pseudo IR effect you see here.
