This quince was a favourite of my Mother, guarded by my father after her death and I, in my turn, guarded it after his death as a little memento of them both transplanted from their garden in England to ours in France.
This is for my PLAY project - you can read more about it in my profile - where I'll be using a different prime lens for each month of the year: for March it's the Fujinon 60mm f/2.4 Macro on an APS-C sensor camera (today the Fuji XT2) - the equivalent of a 90mm lens on a full-frame camera.
Very pretty. My dad used to have one in his garden too and I was surprised how happy I was to see one in our next door neighbours garden when we moved into our house. I sneak over in the spring and take photos of his.
