So, the World Cup begins today. But you probably know that. I actually woke up excited that it was starting, and at the prospect of one whole month of football.
Today the spotlight is on Africa, with it being the first World Cup to be played in that continent. I thought it would be good to have a picture based on that.
I took many pictures of this glass globe ornament until I ended up with an image I was happy with. I held an LED light behind it to get the spotlight effect. I think it does the job of signifying my theme for the day.
Lots of football equals less time for photography. Despite this I will still take a photo every day. In fact, I'm typing this right now whilst watching the Uruguay vs. France football match. Who says men can't multi-task?
Semi-professional photographer based in Nottingham, England, I shoot mainly events and weddings. I'll be posting my work using my Fujis - X100S and X-Pro1.
