A busy weekend ahead. This evening Suman and I went for a meal, and she had the lobster. Suman's always had mixed feelings about trying lobster; an apprehension about the way it looks coupled with a voracious appetite for seafood. So, at the grand age of 29 Suman decided to try it for the first time.
Not the most brilliant photo, but it captured our evening and Suman's (historic) occasion. The noise is quite high in this picture because I didn't use the flash and relied on the ambient lighting.
So, tomorrow I'm going to the Nottingham Riverside Festival. I mentioned earlier this week that I want to go to capture fireworks for the first time, but I'll also shoot some of the festival atmosphere beforehand. On Sunday it's my mum's birthday, so I will probably take a few family photos. That's the weekend's shoots sorted!
Semi-professional photographer based in Nottingham, England, I shoot mainly events and weddings. I'll be posting my work using my Fujis - X100S and X-Pro1.

I first tried lobster 2 years ago, at the age of 25, and I didn't feel so great about it... I expected it to be so much more, and it wasn't better than shrimp... Crab legs, on the other hand, are something different. Mmm...seafood! :-)
