My shoulder feels better today. It's less achy and I have more mobility, so I think my prescribed pills are working. I got home and I felt like taking photos of Suman, my fiancée, and for some strange reason she was more than willing to be today's subject.
I wanted to try a close-up portrait, and I must have taken about fifty photos. She looked good in most of them, and despite this being one of Suman's least favourite shots for today I think she looks beautiful. I must say that I struggled more than on any other day to choose a picture for today; in fact, I deliberated for far longer than I did doing the shoot! I'm still not sure whether this is my favourite photo.
There's a windmill a few miles away that I want to visit. I will try to take some shots of it tomorrow, but I just hope the rain lets up because its been pouring it down during the past week.
Semi-professional photographer based in Nottingham, England, I shoot mainly events and weddings. I'll be posting my work using my Fujis - X100S and X-Pro1.

good shot mate. Good focus on the eyes and I can see that you used a very large aperture at f2 which is leaving her nose slightly out of focus. Nice even light too although I can see what looks like 2 light sources here
