I left today's photo pretty late. I planned on going on a shoot in the day, but the wet weather wasn't ideal. Later on the rain cleared up, so I decided to go out for a night shoot as I haven't done that in a while. I drove to the University of Nottingham's Jubilee Campus again, where I last did a shoot on day 127.
This is the University of Nottingham's Djanogly Learning Resource Centre (or Djanogly LRC). For night photography a tripod is a necessity. It was shot using a long exposure and a low aperture, with the ISO kept to a minimum for maximum sharpness.
As you can see, this building has a distinctive design. It's situated on an island platform in the middle of the Campus' lake, and actually has only one floor that spirals its way to the top of the building. The Jubilee Campus has a number of interesting modern architecture, and I think the Djanogly LRC is the most interesting of them all.
Semi-professional photographer based in Nottingham, England, I shoot mainly events and weddings. I'll be posting my work using my Fujis - X100S and X-Pro1.

What a lovely shot. The light and wet is fab in this and the way it lights the deck up and enhances the texture and colour. That building is an unusual shape but I like the idea it has a sort of island affect. Id love to see it in the daylight.
You did well... Love the shot.....
