I planned another night shoot for tonight, as I really enjoy the results. I went to the cinema first, and as we left it was raining. I hesitated, but because I still had to take today's photo and with it being almost 11pm, I decided to go ahead with the shoot anyway. I parked up at the River Trent and took out my tripod, camera equipment and an umbrella to take today's photos.
I took a few shots of Trent Bridge, the same bridge I took photos of way back on day 20 but in broad daylight. Again, I used a low aperture, long exposure and low ISO, with my camera shielded by my umbrella! I chose this one because if you look closely, you can see a bus' lights as it drove by on the bridge. Yesterday's daily photo made Flickr's EXPLORE page! That's the second time this has happened to me, the first being the caterpillar photo I took on day 85. The EXPLORE page is for interesting and popular photos posted over the past few days; considering there are possibly hundreds of thousands of photographers on Flickr - if not more - it's pretty good news!
Semi-professional photographer based in Nottingham, England, I shoot mainly events and weddings. I'll be posting my work using my Fujis - X100S and X-Pro1.
