I woke up feeling rough today. I didn't feel right, so I worked from home. Because of this I didn't feel like making much effort for today's photo, so I just grabbed my camera and took a few snaps of what was around me this evening. This was right in front of me.
I'm not sure what it is; I think I just like the curves in this picture and the way Suman's hand is 'posed'. I took this using my external flash again; I can't believe I went without one for so long! In post-processing I converted it to black and white.
I still don't feel 100% so I might work from home again tomorrow. We'll see how I feel when I wake up. I think the sudden change in season may have had something to do with it; I'm all achy and my head feels stuffy. This week I was thinking about looking for interest in the little things around me, like yesterday's handkerchief and breast pocket and today's picture. The way I feel today I think this is the ideal time for such photography.
Semi-professional photographer based in Nottingham, England, I shoot mainly events and weddings. I'll be posting my work using my Fujis - X100S and X-Pro1.

I like it. :) It's an intimate snapshot into a close conversation. I love the framing and the fact that her face has been left out of the shot - adds mystery.
The b/n is just PERFECT for this photo!
Great great great!
Even the crop you've chosen is nice!
I love it!
Did I say it already? :D
