Today was a fun day at work. Some of us raised money for Children In Need, the annual BBC fund-raising event for charity. We had a number of games in the Atrium, including a Nintendo Wii. I was glued to it for longer than I should have been, trying to master my swing on a golf game.
Outside a mist had blanketed Nottingham. On Tuesday a thick fog lasted the morning, but today it lasted all day and is still out there this evening. I went for a brief walk just before lunch with my camera; I didn't get any shots I was really happy with unlike on Tuesday, as where I went wasn't very scenic.
I composed what little was in front of me as well as I could, despite the subject matter not being the most interesting. In post-processing I converted it to black and white and cropped the bottom off slightly, as I think it works better conforming to the rule of thirds.
Have any of you been watching 'The Walking Dead'? It's a drama series about a group of people trying to survive in a zombie-infested wasteland. Ever since I watched George A. Romero's 'Night of the Living Dead' I have always liked zombie movies, as Romero's films in particular have a socio-political slant. The series is full of clichés and hammy dialogue but quite good fun, just don't expect intelligent drama like 'The Wire'. Tonight's episode is the third in the series; it's on the FX channel in the UK at 10pm, if you fancy watching it.
Semi-professional photographer based in Nottingham, England, I shoot mainly events and weddings. I'll be posting my work using my Fujis - X100S and X-Pro1.

Its a great photo! Done a great job here :-)
Sounds like a fun day... and have heard of, but not seen the zombie series, but am looking forward to seeing if it ever hits C4 (dont have cable or sky).
@sfe4r@eyebrows It's okay, but nothing special. I love Charlie Brooker's columns and his Screenwipe TV programmes, but that was a bit disappointing, IMO...
