I had to pop out today on my lunch. So, I took the opportunity to walk along a part of the River Trent nearby. This place isn't a particularly scenic part of the river, but there is Clifton Bridge and its interesting lines.
I took quite a few photos and it took me a while to choose my favourite. First, I couldn't decide whether I preferred colour or black and white; second, I couldn't choose between the photo here or this one I have posted on my Flickr page ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/vikdaddy/5346834389/). Even now I look at the two and I'm not sure, but the consensus was when I asked my other half and my brother that this was a more interesting perspective.
I spend so long deliberating over which photo to choose sometimes. Often - like today - I spend longer on this than I do on editing my photos. Sometimes only selecting one photo a day is so difficult!

Great shapes.....i'd have to agree with celly, I love your work also. Even your lamp shot looks awesome and I'm sure it's something that gets overlooked by most people (the actual lamp in your house....not the picture).
This is fantastic Vik- great perspective, but I think I prefer the other shot. I think it is because in the other the road leads my eye into the shot and the bridge leads my eye across the shot :) Either way, they are both wonderful- I can see why you had difficulty choosing!
Why am I always the odd one out. I like the one on Flickr! One is landscape and one is more a study in lines and shapes. Two good shots - it's a good job we're all different.
yea nice Vik, defo made the right choice between the two and I hear you on selecting pics, I spend longer editing them if anything. I was gonna say i have to get one of these lense but not £500+ quid, woah! Think I'll wait a while. :)
i think the other perspective would be awesome for a LE night shot though.
I love all your work, btw!
this...... alot.
i love it!
