Little Irish by vikdaddy

Little Irish

I've just got back from the cinema. There's not much time or energy to think about what to shoot tonight, so I took a look around the house. I decided to take a picture of Suman's Irish figurine using the reverse macro technique with my 50mm lens.

I bought this little Irish doll when I was in Dublin a few years ago for a stag do. I think it looks a little eerie, up close.

Suman and I watched Black Swan, the new film by Darren Aronosfksy. We were really looking forward to it - and it didn't disappoint. It was somewhat clichéd, but it still delivered and Natalie Portman was brilliant. It's highly recommended!

Canon 7D, f/0, 1/200, ISO-100
Sorry if you commented already, I decided to touch the image up a little and repost because the doll had a few marks on it.

Haha... isn't it amazing how you can work on something, post it, and the notice just the slightest little thing that drives you so crazy, you have to fix it?? lol

Never tried reverse macro as it seems all a bit hit and miss. Love this pic though.
