Another busy day today, and again little time to shoot anything. I grabbed a tennis ball and took a photo, simply because I like the texture of it.
Perhaps I could have put a little more effort and it could have been taken better. You can tell I'm being lazy, not just because of the subject matter but also because I processed it similarly to a few recent shots I've taken. I'll try and make more effort in the coming week!
A couple more of my shots have been popular on Flickr. One of my photos from the shoot at the dilapidated church ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/vikdaddy/5414303788/) and the one I took on Friday of the spoon under the tap have had hundreds of views, hitting Flickr's Explore page. That's three in the space of a week. Previous to this I have only had three make the Explore page during the whole of the project!
Semi-professional photographer based in Nottingham, England, I shoot mainly events and weddings. I'll be posting my work using my Fujis - X100S and X-Pro1.

@wolfe Maybe I have a wrinkly hand! Amongst other things I increase the clarity and contrast in Lightroom, but it's always important to make sure it's taken sharply first.
@wolfe Much prefer Lightroom for a streamlined approach to editing photographs. It's simpler and made purely for processing photos, so it makes sense to me to use it. If you want to heavily manipulate photos though so they look more like graphical art, then use Photoshop; if you want to edit your shots so they still look like photos, use Lightroom.
Fantastic shot, great clarity - big tennis fan here so I'm definitely making this a favourite!
The info on Photoshop V's Lightroom is very interesting too... Will definitely have to look into it, as I'm more for editing a photo than going for the graphics side of things - thanks ;-)
Love the shot--great texutre and the edits rock! I really need to make myself learn Lightroom better. I'm just so used to PS and it's hard to change up things sometimes. Time to make more of an effort, methinks...
I just love how you process these images. So raw and gritty. I haven't had much luck in getting this effect. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I LOVE your work!!
The ball shot is, as you say, very textural and nicely lit. Also, I love the title.
