A gorgeous sunset greeted me as I left work today. I would have taken some photos, but I already did my shoot for the day. You see, at lunch I went for a walk along the Nottingham Castle Marina; despite it's proximity to both work and the city centre I had yet to do a shoot there, and today was the perfect weather for it.
I processed this to make it look a little softer than it actually was, to enhance the mood of the shot. I also took a photo of a mural of fishes on a row of houses that I liked ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/vikdaddy/5428400207/). To me it seems like the swan in the image is swimming towards the reflections of the fish for food (although swans eat a largely herbivorous diet, but lets not let facts get in the way!)
There's less than a week to go before I start my new job. If I'm honest, mentally it feels like I've left my current role already. I've got so much to handover though I won't be allowed to forget that I've still got a few days left!
Semi-professional photographer based in Nottingham, England, I shoot mainly events and weddings. I'll be posting my work using my Fujis - X100S and X-Pro1.

@wahyusp Good spot! The shutter speed wasn't the problem; the high aperture was. I accidentally left my camera on AV, which was set to the highest aperture of f/3.5. This shutter speed was adequate for such an aperture, and was chosen by the camera. Most of my other ones were at f/8 (my custom landscape setting on my 7D) and a shutter speed of around 1/400, which would have been more ideal. It was a very bright day!
Fantastic!!!! Perfect reflection!!!
One more "want-to-visit" place :)
Two reasons - called Marina and it's in my favourite country
Used to live there, but have never been to Nottingham ...
Hope your new job goes well
