I saw something rather odd today. The walk to the gym goes past a fire station, and the main entrance was cordoned off. A few men were behind the cordon looking up, so naturally I did too; it turns out there was a fireman at the top of the building. I had to take a couple of shots.
In post-processing I brought out the shades of grey in the clouds by decreasing the exposure. I also fully de-saturated the areas surrounding the fireman and increased the vibrancy to make his outfit stand out more.
I'm still not sure what the fireman was doing. I think he was either taking part in a drill, or he was getting something from atop the building. It wasn't an emergency scenario, judging by the looks on the faces of the people below behind the cordon. Otherwise it'd be rude to stop and take out my camera!

WOw, good capture - love it when you see something odd and manage to get it! Saw a refuse disposal guy feeding a fox last weekend and my camera was in the boot - bah! Love the selective colouring!
