Photography is the art of exclusion. I must keep reminding myself that. I had very little time left to spare this evening, so I put my hand under the tap and fired away, taking a few shots. The interesting part for me was when I began editing.
I don't particularly like this image, I must say; but before I tweaked it, I didn't like it at all. Basically my palm was also visible in the shot and the tap was running in to my hands, and after adding my usual black and white conversion in post-processing I still wasn't pleased. I then decided to crop it drastically and concentrate on the more interesting part of the photo, rotated it counter-clockwise 90 degrees, and here it is.
Where's all the time going? I seem to have less and less time for photography these days. I must buck up, be smarter and find the time, as there's only a couple of months left to go.

keep your head up, you'll cross the finish line before you know it. BTW I really like the result here, it was interesting to hear your process with it.
I feel the same lately - and you and I started a week apart. I really do like this though; great detail in the water, which looks great in monochrome. Funny how others see what we don't in our work :)
I love this shot! It is so cool. I'm glad you shared your editing tips...I was wondering how you got the shot from that angle without soaking your camera.
You're doing so well!!! Not much longer left. I just know you'll keep turning out these wonderful photos. Just keep doing whatever it is you're doing. =)
and i know how you feel haha
