I was inspired today! For a while I've always wanted to try and process an image to look like it's part of a comic strip, but I'd forgotten all about it. I went to the gym, and during my drive home I suddenly remembered.
Admittedly this is particularly narcissistic of me (hence the title), but I have no excuse and tried to make light of it! It took a long while to edit, as I'm not particularly au fait with Photoshop. I read up on a couple of tutorials but decided to make it my own slightly.
I want a new camera! Do I need one? Of course not. But I really want a micro 4/3 camera, and I'm veering towards the sexy retro-looking white Olympus E-PL2. The great thing about these types of cameras is that they take D-SLR-like quality images and allow you to change lenses, but are compact. They're smaller because the mirrors that allow a D-SLR to reflect the image you see in the viewfinder is removed. I'm sorely tempted, but I shouldn't buy one for a while as I've just ordered Suman's 30th birthday present...
